News & Announcements

Dear Franklin Families,

Franklin Elementary PTO is hosting a Walk-a-Thon on Friday, April 26, 2024, to conclude our Fitness Week! Throughout the week of April 22-26, students will be participating in activities that promote both physical and mental health.

On Friday, April 26th, students will be walking as many laps as they can in 30 minutes. We are asking students to earn donations for walking. Donations can be pledged as a set amount or by laps walked (max 30 laps). Every cent counts! No donation is too small and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Donations will all be collected online, so it’s super simple! Just go to the following website: Type in your student’s name (make sure you tell friends and family their teacher’s name too in case there’s more than one student with the same first name + last initial!) to get to their pledge page. Then you can decide if you want to make a flat donation or donate per lap walked (max number of laps = 30).

Franklin PTO supports education as a collaborative process between the home, school, and community. It is our mission to promote active parental participation in the academic, social, and cultural development of each child and provide an environment that enables each child to reach their highest potential.

Donations will be used to support school-wide STEM initiatives, provide materials and resources for teachers, educational assemblies, and school-wide events, such as the fall festival.

Please contact PTO Fundraising Chair Monica Goetz at with any questions!

Thank you for your continued support!
